Really disappointed. Ordered sushi, but what we got was basically a mountain of rice with barely any filling. Honestly, it felt like 5 kg of rice and maybe 200 g of fish. And why on earth is there pork and chicken in sushi? Seriously?
Paid almost € 116 for 80 pieces and 4 soups — and not a single one was enjoyable. The evening was completely ruined.
Expectation vs reality — worlds apart.
The only good thing — they gave us free kimchi and seaweed salad. Thanks for that, at least.

Sushi
The most disrespectful server made us feel as we didn't have a voice. She was blonde turning grey and her ponytail was almost up her forehead. She gaslight us into thinking we didn't know what we ordered when we clearly did. We ordered the fried sushi which was €13.50 and when it came it was clearly not fried with raw salmon. We very kindly reported the problem to her and she told us the fried part was secured in the inside of the seaweed which is absolut bs as seen in the photos. We shushed and ate the sushi. Wasnt what we wanted. When she came around she said she could tell we were a bit disappointed so we reminded her the sushi wasnt fried. To which she ignored and rolled her eyes at us. Worst dinner ever never coming back. Last time we went there was a hair which we tolerated and now horrible service. Next time dinners at lana
The food was great but then made average. But the service is friendly and very helpful.
After multiple visits and numerous visits the biggest problem is the food is saturated with sauce.
Wifey had the duck, tender and juicy, but sadly couldn't taste it because it was saturated in a honey sauce.
I had the teriyaki which again was saturated in the sauce. After five or six mouthfuls all you can taste is sweetness. You spend your time looking for a mouthful of food. This really spoils the whole dish, so many great ingredients then spoiled by a sickly sauce.
So we ordered the Rainbow Futomaki as a sharing dish, I ordered the Bento box and wifey tried the Teriyaki Soba.
The sushi is ok, it is freshly made and tastes great. However for some strange reason, they drizzled mayonnaise over it. While it does add an interesting level, it is one that I would have preferred wasn't on, perhaps leave it to the side so people can make their own choice.
I liked my Bento box, but again a few options that I wasn't given the choice. The sushi had two drops of mayo in them, nice, but I would have preferred it without. The Gyoza was deep fried, again nice. The rice was the rice prepared for the sushi, so it was room temp. I just wish it was steaming hot. The chicken satay, was more of a curry, but overall I liked everything, just these small points would have made it better. The Miso soup was perhaps the best I have had in a very long time. I was stuffed by the time I got to it, but wasn't going to let it waste. Delicious salty broth and highly recommended.
The Teriyaki Soba was very sweet and delicious. I was very impressed with the prawns as they were cooked to perfection. Soft and fluffy with no bite in it.
All in all the food here is a little on the fast food side. But it is very good and we will definitely come back to try other things on the menu. Passing plates to other tables look very tempting.
The Jasmine tea was also great, a must. Sadly there were too many leaves in the pot and it didn't have an internal strainer, so a lot of the leaves landed in the cup. Here I recommend 3 teaspoons of leaves in the pot, and a strainer, or switch to a Chinese/Japanese teapot. Personally I liked the strength of the tea, but wifey said it was too strong for her.
And if this doesn't get you to try, just remember they serve alcohol, a range of wines... But also some exotic sake(rice wines and spirits) and Japanese, China, and Indian beers. You are spoiled for choice here, if you want s
